EAT UP!!!
For those of you who have never heard of
Kalachandji's (ka-la-chon-jeez). It is a very popular vegetarian buffet in East Dallas. It is connected to a Krsna
(Krishna) Temple with a lovely gift shop and has been open since the 1980's. The ambiance is most peaceful and the place radiates warmth and calmness.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Since I started eating there, about 16 years ago I have seen all types of people embracing the food and atmosphere. I have seen punks and drunks piggin' out to millionaire-carnivorous-oil-tycoons there on B-BQ tofu night! And don't worry, I have never been talked to (without me first inquiring) about spiritual matters.
WHO DARES!?
For the more spiritual types (or maybe just broke and curious), the temple offers a free "LOVE" feast every Sunday at their temples worldwide, starting with a class on spiritual science, followed by a Kirtan (ecstatic chanting and dancing), and topped off with free traditional Ayurvedic (Indian) food!!!

The temple is non-sectarian, meaning anyone can visit no matter what their religious background, or none at all. You don't have to "join" anything. You don't have to change the way you choose to live. Love God, hate God, or simply don't care... None of that keeps you from having great food and a great time, with great people in a great atmosphere!
